CONTEXTUAL FIT

The Purpose of this project was to redesign the existing Smith House by architect Richard Meier it was designed in 1965 in the Long Island Sound. A client wants to redesign the existing Smith House, without interrupting the integrity of the original design. As the designer, you must take steps in order to understand the fundamentals of the original design.
Narrative:
This family understand the world they live in and the surroundings. They are fascinated by what is out there in the world. The stars, the planet the galaxy is a main focus to this family. They bound throughout the imagination of what is beyond. Furthermore, they want to be able to connect with the sky from within.
